This Privacy Policy explains how ESP Innovations Inc. (“ESPi,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit our website, contact us or use our client portal. ESPi works business to business; this site is intended for businesses, not individual consumers.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you send our contact form or email us, we receive your name, business email, company, the type of business you represent and your message.
- Client portal information. If your company has a portal account, we receive your name, business email, company details, order requests, shipping details and notes you submit. Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form, so no one at ESPi can read them. ESPi does not collect or store payment card or bank account numbers through the portal. When we send a secure payment link, the payment is handled by that payment provider under its own privacy policy.
- Basic technical information. Our hosting provider automatically logs information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and to keep the site running. We also keep simple daily totals of page views, the website that referred a visit and which products were opened. These totals do not use cookies and do not include IP addresses or anything that identifies you.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss products and services with your business.
- To process, quote and fulfill orders and requests placed through the portal.
- To manage our business relationship with you, including service updates.
- To protect the security of our website and comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website and email host (HostGator), which delivers contact-form messages and portal emails to our inbox, and a backup form service (FormSubmit) used only if our own server can’t be reached, and with partners such as manufacturers, testing labs and freight providers when it’s needed to complete work you have asked us to do. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Confidentiality
We treat information about your products, plans and orders as confidential. We do not publicize our clients or the work we do for them without permission.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in to the client portal, we set one essential cookie that keeps you signed in; it is removed when you sign out or it expires. Our hosting provider may also set a short security cookie to block automated attacks.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as needed to respond to you, carry out our business relationship and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
Your rights, including California residents
Depending on where you live, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request that we correct or delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email privacy@espinnovations.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please don’t send highly sensitive information, such as payment card numbers, through our contact form.
Children
Our website is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
